Adaptive God Eater belonged to Port Pennywort.After Ash Storm hit the port he offered protection for Caravan of Port Chrysanthemum along with other member of "The Hounds". As Representative of The Hounds,Hugo was well-rounded, highly-skilled God Eater talented in support and in charge of commanding and managing The Hounds. In addition to he also worked in business development capacity by securing new clients. He was studying Port management, but it seems that sitting still and hitting the books did not suit his personality. He appeared to relieve study stress by going out on missions and hitting things. With the goal of long-term growth and expansion of The Hounds, he sought new business opportunities. Currently closely in contact with Dusty Miller regarding the commercialization of Adaptive Armor technology, he strove to secure the required material and financing. He fully entrusted the field command of The Hounds combat unit to Shiolia. Hugo was known as talented leader and strategist, the partnership with Chrysanthemum and Ein had spurred him to plan further expansion of the Hounds' business ventures. Under his direction, their long-term objective is to build a Port and used it as base to launch  transcontinental voyage across Eurasia which authority rights he would fully hold. He was currently seeking support from other Ports and faction including Gleipnir and survivor of Crimson Queen for this venture.
